David Zalik

founder of GreenSky

David Zalik is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist.  David Zalik founded GreenSky, the largest point of sale credit platform in America in 2006, took the company public in 2018 and sold it to Goldman Sachs in 2022. He was a partner at Goldman Sachs until 2024. 
 
David co-founded The Zalik Foundation, which supports education, children and families in need, behavioral mental health, and Jewish communities in the U.S. and Israel.  To date, the foundation has granted over $128 million. 
 
David started his first business at age 14 and skipped high school to begin taking college courses.  David ultimately put educational pursuits on pause to focus on MicroTech Information Systems, a computer hardware and networking company he founded and eventually sold in 1996.  David also established Outweb, a web and mobile-development consulting firm.
 
David is a proud believer in democracy and capitalism and supports a strong U.S.-Israel relationship.  He is a recipient of the Ernst & Young National Financial Services Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which he earned in 2016. David resides in Atlanta with his incredible wife Helen and three magnificent daughters.

Michael Karlin is a real estate investor and developer concentrating on single tenant net lease assets. He is founder and manager of Greene Karlin Real Estate, LLC. Michael is a Senior Advisor to the Zalik Foundation

Prior to investing in and developing real estate, Michael was co-founder of Security First Network Bank, the world’s first Internet bank, and S1 Corporation, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: SONE). At the time of his retirement in 1999, S1 was the world’s leading provider of financial portal solutions.

He was president of Security First Network Bank at its inception, and was responsible for setting up the Internet operations, defining the original product offering, and receiving all regulatory approvals.

Prior to SFNB and S1, Michael co-founded VST Financial Services, an SBA lending subsidiary of Cardinal Bancshares, Inc. of Lexington, Kentucky.
